Proper posture can help prevent pain and promote strength, but when poor it can be the primary cause of bodily pain and weakened muscles. Come explore from toe to head how to consciously hold the body in proper alignment thereby decreasing the risk of pain and strengthening the core muscles.
Join Belinda Harrison, a specialist in female pelvic floor physical therapy and All That Matters' yoga teacher Tara Beaulieu, for an educational lecture and hands on instruction of proper engagement of core muscles during a yoga flow class.
• Improve awareness of core muscles during yoga asana • Learn how to consciously control the joints in your body • Understand how to engage proper posture to ensure joint protection during yoga • Learn home exercises to promote flexibility and proper alignment
Leave this workshop with the confidence in your body to incorporate your newfound skills into your daily routines and your yoga practice. Great for yoga teachers and students alike!
