Sheri Silva

Sheri Silva loves yoga and any form of sacred movement. Her passion lies in the flow, freedom and inner connection yoga can bring to each and every person, in each and every breath and movement, regardless of experience or flexibility. 

Sheri started her studies in yoga in 1998 and has been teaching ever since. Sheri holds her E-RYT 200 certification from Yoga Alliance. She has since completed several yoga training’s with David Swenson and Saul David Raye. She continues to study and assist her teacher Saul David Raye in both yoga and Thai Yoga Massage. Sheri has completed Level II Training in Thai Massage and is an active practitioner. Sheri also practices sacred dance and Feng Shui. She is grateful to all of her teachers who continue to inspire and guide her, many of them her students!

  • Slow Flow

  • This is one of our Flow classes.

    This Vinyasa-style class invokes mindfulness through a slowly flowing practice built on dynamic movement and breath. Emphasis is placed on embodying both stillness and motion to cultivate strength, engagement, and awareness. This class is suited for all levels of practitioner and offers students space to explore presence and peace.

  • Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow

  • This is one of our Flow classes.

    Ashtanga Yoga, as taught by Sri K Pattabhi Jois, is a system of sequences with a classical approach to the foundations of vinyasa flow: synchronized breath and dynamic movement. Traditionally taught in a set sequence with as many as 76 asanas, this class will use more of a shortened, creative adaptation of the classic Primary Series. The Primary Series is described as ‘Yoga Chikitsa” (yoga therapy) as it assists in detoxifying and realigning the body. This class is wonderfully suited for students wanting to learn vinyasa flow, as well as for experienced vinyasa students wanting to deepen their understanding and practices.

  • Heated Vinyasa Flow I/II

  • This is one of our Flow classes.
    Vinyasa Flow I/II is a moderately paced Vinyasa practice that connects movement and awareness to breath in a dynamic sequence. Classes introduce inversions, backbends and arm balances as well as yoga philosophy for students looking to expand their physical practice and deepen their understanding of the many facets of yoga.
    This class is done in a heated room. The heat encourages greater flexibility and detoxification. Yoga experience is necessary and students are asked to bring a towel, mat and water.
