Rebecca Quigley Powers
Rebecca began her yogic path in 2008, when she began taking yoga classes to help with anxiety. She knew immediately that she had found what she was looking for, and became a regular student. In 2011, Rebecca traveled to Costa Rica to study with Marianne Wells for a 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training. One year later, she also became certified by Lucy Cimini of Yoga Warriors International to teach trauma-sensitive yoga. Using the YogaKids model, Rebecca began teaching yoga for children in 2014.
Rebecca’s classes are a balance of challenge and relaxation; ease and effort; yin and yang. She encourages her students to practice self-love and self-acceptance, and to leave behind any judgment. Having been originally trained in the Iyengar method, she welcomes the use of props to make her classes accessible for students from beginner to advanced. Rebecca encourages students to use their breath as a tool to practice yoga and to bring themselves to a deeper place of calm- both on and off the mat.

This Yoga I/II blended class includes key instruction for beginner yogis, while offering options for experienced yogis to deepen and further their practice. Teachers address various levels while adapting to students' needs.

This introductory Vinyasa Flow class moves at a gentle pace to establish strength, flexibility, and balance within a continuous sequence of postures. Vinyasa Flow I is designed for newer and intermediate students looking to hone in on proper alignment while honoring and exploring the connection between movement, breath and mindfulness—the fundamental building blocks of Vinyasa.
