Our friend Mike Dooley recently pointed out that no matter what you may ask for during the entire rest of your life, it will be less that what you've already been given. Love, sunshine, eyes, color, neighborhood yoga centers, moonlight, massage, books, oceans, great blue whales, wallet-sized computers, sleep, hugs, seasons, puppies, consciousness, language, birdsong, honey bees, chocolate, mangoes, taste buds...There's so much to be thankful for, it's stunning to contemplate - and a worthwhile pursuit! At All That Matters, we do our best to add to your list of things to be thankful for.

2. Give thanks for healing.

3. Give thanks for relaxation.
Deep relaxation boosts your health, happiness, peace, and potential. Each month, our own Kendall Sheldon leads an hour-long guided practice of deep rest, relaxation, and self-inquiry.

4. Give thanks for guidance.
You don't have to sort everything out yourself! Devarshi Steven Hartman brings one of the greatest pieces of spiritual literature to life and reveals how it is applicable to modern life in a lively, experiential dialogue: The Essence of the Bhagavad Gita. Absorb life-changing wisdom from this ancient poem - a conversation between Krishna (God) and the spiritual warrior Arjuna - on Sat, Dec 14, 3-5:30pm.
5. Give thanks every day.
In her month-by-month guide book Living in Gratitude: Mastering the Art of Giving Thanks Every Day (available in The Store at All That Matters), Angeles Arriens mentions research showing that "gratitude increases our inclinations to be more caring, compassionate, just, honest, and respectful towards others." What's more, Marianne Williamson writes in the book's introduction, "Rarely do we realize that if we simply take time to marvel at life's gifts and give thanks for them, we activate stunning opportunities to increase their influence in our lives."
Speaking of which, we at All That Matters give thanks for you, every day!
