Online Program Curriculum
Each weekly class focuses on a specific topic to help students expand their understanding and awareness of how mindfulness can benefit them in their lives.
Guest teachers include Priscilla Szneke, CFM Qualified MBSR Teacher and Lauri Klein LICSW, psychotherapist and expert in Mindful Self Compassion.
Between weekly meetings, participants are asked to maintain a daily mindfulness practice, assisted by guided recordings, to strengthen their practice. Independent study of provided readings and videos is also encouraged to support the teachings.
Most people rarely, if ever, experience extended periods of introspection. Without the pressures of external distractions, we have the gift of going even more deeply into our own inner exploration. This day-long intensive is a highlight for many students, as it gives them the chance to meet each other in person, connect more deeply, and immerse themselves in a day steeped in mindfulness and meditation. Retreats are held at All That Matters, our serene yoga and holistic health center in the heart of South County, RI.
In the Immersion’s day-long Retreat, students gather in safe space to be guided by Erin through a silent mindfulness retreat, getting to experience first-hand the unique benefits that come with such immersion. Leave feeling inspired and empowered to create meaningful work for yourself and positive change for those around you.

“Call it meditation or call it quiet time – doesn’t matter. The benefits are the same. If you stay with the practice, it’s like developing spiritual muscle. I promise you will become less stressed, more focused.” – Oprah Winfrey

The certification program also includes a bonus recording on Teaching Skills:
Students are required to complete 10 hours of teaching on their own, as a way to support their growth as a Mindfulness Teacher. Each person will create their own offering and opportunity to share. Past participants have taught at their current places of employment, at community centers, nursing homes, churches and other venues.
The best way to learn is by doing, so this practicum is a great way to learn and grow as a teacher.
Students also are given a written exam and a final mentoring call with the Instructor. A continuing daily mindfulness practice is a prerequisite for anyone teaching mindfulness.
