What attracted you to yoga? Why did you start?
I started practicing to bring mental and physical balance to my busy life as a student and farmer.
What is your favorite type/style of yoga and why?
I love Vinyasa for building strength and Restorative for melting away the muscle tension.
What is your favorite yoga pose and why?
Headstand for the focus and control it requires—it helps me to realize my own strength and it always feels great to turn the world upside down!
What keeps you practicing yoga?
I’m addicted for the self-awareness, self-love, and personal growth it brings to my life. It is my workout, my remedy, my spiritual centering, and the best thing I can for myself any day of the week.
What other activities do you enjoy?
Being outdoors—gardening, biking, hiking, etc.—making pottery, stargazing, and skinny-dipping!
Favorite place to be and why?
On a hammock in the shade, listening to the birdsong and doing nothing at all—because I rarely take the time to just be.
Depends on the season but nothing beats a real-deal ripe strawberry!
What do you like most about All That Matters?
The quality of the classes, staff, and the entire ATM experience is great, and the sense of community can’t be beat! Also, loving the new All That Matters app. :)
Advice to beginners?
Just breathe and even the seemingly difficult moments can become glorious!

Embrace your true self, always try to be your best, and never apologize for who you are!
