This weekend was a snowy and wonderful here at ATM. Coral's 2011, 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training class graduated. Congrats to Coral and all the and wonderful new teachers. I am sure are ready to go out inspire, teach, and heal!
Davarshi also taught this weekend. He is the head of the Yoga Teacher Training programs at Kripalu ( I just read through all the evaluations and everyone enjoyed him as much as I did and Davarshi loved being here. He called All That Matter a mini Kripalu. What a lovely compliment. He will be back in the summer and offering our next Yoga Teacher Training in September.

I am off to a week of meditation... and will be back writing about What is New and Matters in a week.

joanAs I sit here and write my spirit is already in NC where David and I are going next week for a meditation retreat. Retreating is a lost art, yet for me it has become essential. Whether is it a one hour massage retreat, a gentle yoga class retreat, a day without phones retreat or a retreat from work or eating!

Last night I gave the Intro to our 40 Day Program talk. About 15 folks came and we talked about the power of committing to your health for 40 days in the three essential ways; eating well, meditating, and doing yoga (eat, pray, move). On the topic of retreat, my good friend and mentor Kendall Sheldon's series Integrative Rest (iRest®) - The Ancient Practice of Yoga Nidra  begins next week. This program is the ultimate stress buster. It has been a bit since we have shared what is new and happening here at ATM. 
This weekend we had the honor of hosting the first weekend for  Kundalini Teacher Training with Guratma and his support team. What a delightful man and inspiring teacher and great group of students. Welcome, Welcome!

Talking about Yoga Teacher Training. Davarshi the senior teacher for Kripalu's Yoga Teacher Training will be here at ATM this coming weekend offering some great workshops and free Q&A on our upcoming Yoga Teacher Training.

I am not sure if you all knew we now offer luscious and healing facials with Belle Boyes. Yes, she also teaches yoga here. Click here for her full list of services. I had one last week and was transported to deep relaxation, learned a great deal about my skin and feel really good.
